minimum of 5 photographers, , , view samples of their work, , enlargements, , full albums, etc. Ask for past client references, , vendor references, and then tell them that you will call them if you decide to reserve their services.
Don't hire anyone on the spot!! It's tempting at times, Yes, especially at bridal shows, when there are show specials and promotions, but do yourself a favor by holding off, and playing hard to get. While this may not benefit you financially, , , it may pay off more than you know in the long run when it comes to your irreplaceable memories. Far too many couples learn this the hard way, when they hire someone on a whim, and end up having to take their photographer to court for non-delivery of a contracted product due to lack of experience, equipment failure, not showing up, etc.!!!
